Serial, copper and fiber optic connection
AMC is expanding its range of device servers and Modbus gateways with the EKI-1521I-SC-A, EKI-1221I-MT-A and EKI-1222I-SC-A modules for industrial communication solutions.
AMC 's modules have fiber optic connections for protocol conversion and remote transmission applications. They provide connectivity for connecting serial devices with RS232/422/485 over copper port to fiber optic Ethernet.
The 'EKI-1221I-MT' and 'EKI-1222I-SC' gateways are bidirectional gateways that integrate serial Modbus devices (RTU/ ASCII) into network-based TCP/IP systems. The 'EKI-1221I-MT' has a serial and an Ethernet connection with RJ45 as well as a fiber optic connection with multi-mode/ST connection. The 'EKI-1222I-SC' has two serial ports, an Ethernet port (RJ45) and a fiber optic connection with single-mode/SC connection. The maximum transmission distance of the fiber optic connections is 30 km. The 'EKI-1521I-SC' has a serial and an Ethernet port with RJ45 and a single-mode SC connection for fiber optics.
