Pent-up demand for IoT

What is the current level of connectivity in the manufacturing and logistics sector? What experience do companies have in the IoT sector and what is holding back their investments in this area? A new study by market analysis and consulting firm PAC provides the answers.

The market analysis and consulting firm PAC (Pierre Audoin Consultants) conducted the IoT trend study on behalf of Deutsche Telekom and its key account subsidiary T-Systems. It surveyed 150 IT and business decision-makers from the manufacturing and transportation industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 38% of respondents came from the mechanical and plant engineering sector, 41% from the manufacturing industry and 21% from the logistics sector.
