New bus coupler for Ethernet
With the inline bus coupler for Modbus/TCP (UDP) IL ETH BK-PAC, Phoenix Contact is expanding its product portfolio for setting up remote I/O solutions in the control cabinet.
The IP20 bus coupler supports all available inline I/O modules, including the branch modules for opening a remote bus line. It adds another network to the portfolio of Phoenix Contact 's inline bus coupler generation. The bus coupler with two RJ45 ports each enables daisy-chain cabling and automatically detects the network and local bus speed. The latest firmware can always be loaded onto the device via a firmware update. The bus coupler is connected to controllers for Modbus/TCP (UDP) or directly to a PC. In combination with a PC, programming and control can be carried out using high-level languages. Both static information about the device and dynamic information can be called up via the integrated web-based management. Web-based management can be used to block individual, unused ports.
