IO-Link portfolio expanded
The IP67 fieldbus modules MVK Pro and Impact67 Pro expand Murrelektronik's IO-Link portfolio. They operate the common Ethernet protocols, but also allow fieldbus-independent use.
Murrelektronik 's IP67 fieldbus modules have eight multifunctional master ports, can also handle high currents thanks to L-coded M12 connectors and operate the Ethernet protocols Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Ethercat. Thanks to the integrated Standardized Master Interface (SMI), fieldbus-independent use via OPC UA, MQTT, JSON REST API is also possible. In addition to the pure process data (I/Os), the modules also provide additional diagnostic data (voltage, current and temperature) for the respective ports and the entire module. This allows operators to detect anomalies and optimize their processes through data analysis. Thanks to the IIOT protocols, this is standardized and possible without a controller.
Thanks to the integrated A/B ports, the function can be freely parameterized on each pin. Automatic switching of the supply voltage means that the correct power supply is always used: Actuator supply for DOs and sensor supply for DIs. The module supplies devices with high energy requirements directly and without cross-feeding thanks to an additional supply of up to 4A at each port. A plastic or metal housing with IP67 protection makes the master modules particularly robust.
