How accepted are 'Siri', 'Alexa' & Co.
Digital voice assistants are popular: three out of four Germans have already gained experience with 'Siri', 'Alexa' & Co. or can imagine using them. The BVDW has published a survey on what respondents like about them and their concerns.
For its representative survey, the BVDW (German Digital Industry Association) interviewed over 1,000 people aged 16 to over 55 via the market research institute Kantar TNS. The study does not differentiate between whether the digital voice assistant is used via smartphone, PC or networked speakers. However, it does provide information on the distribution of use in the age groups and genders, the concerns about Siri & Co. and the areas of application in which digital voice assistants are used.
