"Ethics is becoming a competitive factor"

72% of German citizens prefer to buy digital products or services that are designed in such a way that they follow ethical principles when making decisions. This is one of the findings of the latest study by the German Digital Industry Association (BVDW).

Against the backdrop of increasing automation and AI-based applications, the topic of ethics is becoming an increasingly important factor for the digital economy. This is shown by the results of the study "Artificial Intelligence, Smart Home, Connected Health - Ethics in the Digital Economy", which the BVDW presented on September 11, 2019.
