HMS Industrial Networks generated 61% of its sales in the EMEA region. The North and South American market accounts for 21 % and Asia for 17 %.

HMS believes it is well positioned for the future. Trends such as Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things will require even more machines to be networked with each other in the future. In addition, manufacturing and IT systems are moving closer together as part of cloud solutions. "Our solutions enable our customers to integrate their machines and devices into industrial networks. In order to also transfer data from these machines and devices to higher-level IT systems or cloud solutions, we have expanded our portfolio to include solutions that support the new IoT protocols OPC UA and MQTT," explains Döring, Managing Director of the German subsidiary and Head of the Continental European Sales and Marketing organization. The company sees itself as a technology partner for its customers and has been offering communication solutions for industry for 30 years. In addition to OPC UA, MQTT, TSN and safety, the focus for new products is also on wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and WLAN.
