With a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony on January 28, 2022, construction work officially began on the new European distribution center, which is located directly opposite the previous site at the Karlsruhe Technology Park. A five-storey, energy-efficient building is being built here to KfW 55 standard, with 2,500 square meters of floor space and plenty of room for over 100 workstations. The move is planned for spring 2023.

The focus of HMS is on industrial information and communication technology (ICT), which comprises three main areas: Networks for control tasks, information and communication infrastructure. HMS intends to expand further in these areas in the future. The European sales center serves 26 European countries with a focus on sales, marketing and technical service and support.
