Siemens and Servicenow want to improve industrial security
The aim of the cooperation between Siemens and Serviceknow is to improve industrial cyber security and drive forward the integration of generative AI in production.
The companies are focusing on combining Siemens' 'Sinec Security Guard' to improve cyber security in production and the 'Siemens Industrial Copilot' for generative AI-supported automation with ServiceNow's workflow automation. This enables the companies to embed generative AI-driven results from Siemens Industrial Copilot directly into ServiceNow workflows.
Servicenow's 'Operational Technology Service Management Suite', or OTSM for short, plays a key role in this. The suite helps organizations manage and secure their operational technology environment by integrating IT and OT workflows, providing real-time visibility and automating processes across the entire store floor. With Sinec Security Guard, ServiceNow's OT Vulnerability Response (OT VR) is further enhanced to provide more insight into OT device vulnerabilities, enabling faster detection and remediation of security threats.
ServiceNow's Now Platform coordinates and manages complex automation workflows and integrates AI into operational processes. Siemens contributes extensive industry expertise in the automation business. The Siemens Industrial Copilot is based on generative AI and improves human-machine collaboration in production in the long term. Companies that use the Now Platform and map their workflows there achieve even greater transparency with the Operations Copilot. Operational processes are easier to control as static and dynamic machine data ensures transparency and control. The Operations Copilot supports employees in production with detailed instructions and recommendations in natural language. ServiceNow automates workflows - from maintenance planning to real-time problem solving. This helps to translate AI-driven insights into tangible and efficient actions that ultimately improve productivity and minimize downtime.
