AS-i Master for IIoT Platform
With ifm's "Moneo"-compatible AS-i master, sensors with AS-Interface can now also take advantage of the functionality of the "Moneo" IIoT platform.
It allows AS-i information to be displayed, linked, and processed in the dashboard. The data is available for system monitoring, alarm notifications, and further analysis. Even before integration, the AS-i master family already had a separate IIoT port, which simplifies connection to the moneo IIoT platform. The inputs and outputs of the AS-i master can be displayed as instruments in the dashboard; they can trigger alarms and send messages via email or directly to a cell phone. Additionally, they can be logically linked, analyzed in a time series chart, or stored in the long-term database.
The new addition to the “Moneo” family expands the range of already integrated components—such as IO-Link masters, mioty base stations, and VSE modules for vibration monitoring—to include yet another widely used fieldbus system.
