Control command devices with IO-Link
The 'Modular Bus System (MBS)' from Schlegel is used to easily integrate various operating elements into the control systems of machines or systems. The company has now added a basic and extension module to the system in order to control command devices with IO-Link.
The base module and extension module each offer space for up to eight control devices, which can be organized in three different grids (25, 27 or 30 mm). The modules are connected via a single cable. The IO-Link modules of the 'MBS' from Schlegel include the following functions: Operating hours counter, monitoring of switching cycles, monitoring of hardware, monitoring of lighting for failure and dimming or night design of lighting. The IO-Link status display also provides information about the status of the connection. The IO-Link specification 1.1.2 and ports Class A and B are supported. The operating temperature ranges from -10 to +50 °C, the system voltage is 24 V, which is drawn from the IO-Link master.
