Inka Krischke,

Suitable for rail transport

The Schlegel charging sockets are available in three versions, each with two USB ports from the combinations of USB-A and USB-C: A/A, A/C and C/C. The USB-A port delivers up to 2.4 A, the USB-C port up to 3 A charging current at 5 V output voltage.

This means that two devices can be charged at the same time. The Schlegel sockets have a current limiter for the output current for each USB port, including short-circuit protection, as well as under-voltage and over-voltage protection. The charging sockets can be operated in a temperature range between -40 and 70 °C. At high ambient temperatures, a temperature sensor ensures that the electronics do not overheat. It regulates the charging current accordingly or automatically switches off the charging process when the critical temperature is reached. Ventilation slots also ensure continuous cooling. The charging sockets are suitable for use in rail transport and comply with the standards EN 50155, EN 61373:2011 Class 1B, EN 60077-1, EN 45545-2, EN 60068-2, EN 50121-3-2, IEC 61000-6-3/4 and EBA EMC06 for all relevant parts.
