Vision 2020 does not take place

Vision, the world's leading trade fair for machine vision, will not take place this year, as Messe Stuttgart, the organizer, has announced. The trade fair was originally scheduled for November 10 to 12.

The international machine vision trade fair 'Vision' is also not taking place this year due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the past few weeks, Messe Stuttgart has been in intensive discussions with the exhibitors at Vision. "In the discussions held, it became clear that Vision could not be realized in the usual quality this year, particularly due to the high level of internationality in combination with the ongoing travel restrictions," reports Florian Niethammer, Project Manager of Vision. "In close cooperation with our exhibitors, who have withdrawn their participation in the trade fair, and our conceptual sponsor, VDMA Machine Vision, we have therefore informed all those involved in the trade fair today that VISION, the world's leading trade fair for machine vision, will not take place this year," added Niethammer on July 7, 2020.
