The controller and lighting merge to form intelligent units and transmit their data to the process automation system. The controller supplies a maximum of 2 A of digitally controlled constant current, which can be set precisely and repeatably. The temperature, flow voltage and current of the LED lighting are also monitored. Status messages are issued in the event of a cable break, failure/defect or short circuit. According to the supplier, high signal quality and constant parameters are guaranteed in continuous and flash mode. Precise flash pulses are possible from a width of 1 μs with a maximum frequency of 500 kHz. The controller's interface signals are compatible with the 24 V industry standard. Its operating voltage range is between 12 and 30 V(DC).
