New President and CEO for Flir Systems

In mid-June 2017, James J. (Jim) Cannon will succeed Andy Teich as the new President and CEO of Flir Systems, who is retiring after 33 years with the infrared/thermal imaging camera expert.

Cannon will lead Flir Systems from its headquarters in Wilsonville, Oregon, USA. Mr. Cannon previously served more than 16 years in various leadership positions at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., most recently as President of Stanley Security North America & Emerging Markets. Prior to that, he was President of the Industrial & Automotive Repair (IAR) division, first in North America and then in Europe and Latin America. Prior to that, he was President of Stanley Oil & Gas.
