New managing director appointed
In January 2021, Dr. Raj Chakraborty took over the management of the Laser Components Detector Group from Dragan Grubisic, who is retiring from day-to-day operations after 17 years at the helm.
As Operations Manager, Dr. Chakraborty had already been working closely with his predecessor since 2018. In this role, he managed the day-to-day operations of the production and engineering teams. Dr. Chakraborty has more than 24 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. During this time, he has held engineering, manufacturing and senior management positions at several Fortune 500 companies.
Raj Chakraborty succeeds Dragan Grubisic as Managing Director, who has led the Laser Components Detector Group since its inception in 2004 and will continue to be available to the company for development projects.
