"The machine vision industry is in an excellent position. Between 2013 and 2017, turnover grew by an average of 13% per year; in 2017 alone by 17%. The task now is to strengthen this position and open up further growth markets in the industrial and non-industrial sectors. The VDMA Machine Vision Division with its more than 115 members has an important role to play here," said Dr. Noffz, CEO of Silicon Software, after his election. Dr. Noffz succeeds Dr. Olaf Munkelt of MVTec Software, who has held the position for the past nine years.
