The camera with aluminum housing and integrated memory is shock-resistant up to 30 g (optionally 100 g) and can be used in mobile applications or in confined spaces. The latest generation 12-bit CMOS sensor delivers up to 10,860 fps at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels (1.2 MP). In HDTV video format with 1280 x 720 pixels, 14,300 fps are achieved; a further reduction in image resolution results in up to 423,350 fps.

The light sensitivity is specified with ISO up to 25,000 in mono mode and up to 6400 in color. By synchronously combining four pixel cells (binning mode), High Speed Vision light sensitivity and recording frequency can be doubled in some cases, according to the manufacturer. Video use is guaranteed at ambient temperatures from -10 to +50 °C.
Designed to cope with high data rates, the camera has an internal memory of 18, 36 or 72 Gbytes.
