Vision Components has developed a complete embedded vision system that is barely larger than an image sensor module. PicoSmart System is suitable for the development of compact vision sensors.
The small 22 mm x 23.5 mm board houses the 1 megapixel CMOS sensor with global shutter as well as all the components required for image processing: an FPGA module, a high-end CPU processor, memory and an FPC connector for connecting an interface board.
