High-speed video with extreme light sensitivity

According to the manufacturer High Speed Vision, the Phantom VEO 610 high-speed camera offers high light sensitivity and a very low signal-to-noise ratio.

The camera with its latest generation 12-bit CMOS sensor delivers up to 5,610 fps at a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels (1.2 MP). With reduced image resolution, up to 218,970 fps can be recorded. The camera from High Speed Vision offers an ISO light sensitivity of 25,000 for mono and 6,400 for color in daylight, and up to ISO 50,000 for mono and 8,000 for color in binned mode (4 pixels). Two housing types (S or L model) are available. The VEO 610 has Nikon F (G-type) lens mounts, Canon EF and C-mount are optionally available. It is housed in an aluminum housing, has an integrated memory with up to 72 Gbyte and is shock-resistant up to 30 G (100 G optional). Its use is guaranteed in the temperature range from -10 to +50 °C. An optional 10 Gbit Ethernet interface enables the 72 Gbyte memory to be downloaded to the PC in under two minutes.
