Alexander Temme has been with Basler since 2002 and was most recently responsible for the management of global sales. He has also been in charge of Basler's embedded vision components business since 2018.

After 15 years, the previous CCO John Jennings had asked the Supervisory Board not to renew his contract, which expired at the end of 2020. In addition to his Management Board mandate, Jennings also managed the company's North American activities as Managing Director of the US subsidiary. This dual role led to a constant high level of travel, which Jennings would like to reduce. Following his departure from the Management Board, he will therefore concentrate in future on his role as Managing Director of the company's North American activities.

Alexander Temme will manage the company together with CEO Dr. Dietmar Ley and the Management Board members Hardy Mehl (CFO/COO) and Arndt Bake (CMO).
