Alexander Lewinsky expands management team
On August 1, the shareholders of IDS appointed Alexander Lewinsky to the management board. Together with Jan Hartmann, he will take over the operational management of the industrial camera manufacturer.
Managing Partner and company founder Jürgen Hartmann will remain responsible for development and product management.
Alexander Lewinsky has been part of the IDS team since 2012, initially as Product Manager, then as Purchasing Manager and Division Manager for Production/Logistics and Quality Assurance. In Obersulm, he will continue to be primarily responsible for purchasing, production, logistics, quality assurance and infrastructure. Jan Hartmann, Jürgen Hartmann's son, will be responsible for administration, sales, system consulting and marketing.
"I am delighted about this appointment and look forward to working even more closely with Jan and Jürgen Hartmann," explains Lewinsky, who has been part of the extended management team as an authorized signatory since March 2020.
Since its foundation in 1997 as a two-man company, IDS has developed into an independent, ISO-certified family business with more than 330 employees. The headquarters in Obersulm, Baden-Württemberg, is both a development and production site. IDS is represented internationally with subsidiaries in the USA, Japan, South Korea and the UK as well as other representative offices in Europe.
