Joint business group founded

Siemens and Accenture announced the establishment of the Accenture Siemens Business Group at the Hannover Messe. The aim is to support companies in the digitalization and optimization of their engineering and manufacturing processes.

The Siemens Accenture Business Group combines the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio for automation, industrial AI and software with Accenture's data and AI competencies. The aim is to drive software-defined products and factories and make it easier for companies to integrate artificial intelligence into their processes. The plan is to deploy 7,000 specialists worldwide with expertise in manufacturing and IT.

The new business group is primarily aimed at companies in the automotive, electronics, semiconductor, consumer goods, mechanical engineering, aerospace, transportation and defence sectors. It offers solutions in the areas of engineering, manufacturing and industrial security. It also uses 'Agentic AI', a technology that largely automates tasks in product development, maintenance and production control.
