Universal load monitoring up to 8 A

Lütze has added the compact, single-channel Locc-Box-M, which can be used as a stand-alone version, to the proven Locc-Box family of electronic load monitors.

With the stand-alone version, the load can be selectively adjusted using five patented, analog trigger characteristics ranging from "fast" - for sensors, for example - to "super slow" for motors and fans. According to Lütze, load monitoring is therefore suitable as a replacement for circuit breakers in an existing setup. The required current range can be individually set in 1 A increments within a bandwidth of 1 to 8 A.

The up to 40 possible setting variants can be fixed using a lead seal. The load monitoring can be used via plug-and-play without additional modules. With an installation depth of just 86 mm, an installation height of 92 mm and a width of 8.1 mm, it is suitable for installation in smaller switch boxes as well as the classic installation in switch cabinets. The LED status display uses green and red signaling to indicate operating states and faults in the load circuit.
