Puls takes over Etasyn

Puls acquired the German power supply manufacturer Etasyn with retroactive effect from January 1, 2017.

As a wholly owned subsidiary, ,, which is based not far from Chemnitz in the Ore Mountains, is renamed Puls Vario as part of the integration. Puls 's business now includes customized power supplies and complete power system solutions in addition to its extensive portfolio of standard power supplies.

Etasyn's most important market segment is medical technology. This segment accounted for a good half of sales in the last financial year. The company has further strengths in the area of customer-specific industrial power supplies and in railroad technology. This market expertise is to be further expanded in the future.

Ewald Braith, Managing Director of Etasyn since 2015, will head the new Puls Vario division in future. The integration of Etasyn with 75 employees will increase the number of employees in the Puls Group to over 1000 worldwide.
