Power supply units: Also approved for medical devices
With the DTM65-D and DTM65-C8 power supply series from TDK-Lambda, Hy-Line Power Components offers external AC/DC adapters with mains plug/cold appliance connection.
The devices with an output power of up to 65 W have IEC 60601-1 approvals for medical devices and meet the energy efficiency requirements of EU CoC (Code of Conduct) Tier 2 v5 and US DoE Level VI. Typical fields of application include medical technology, industrial IT, life sciences and laboratory equipment.
According to Hy-Line, the DTM65-D is housed in a robust, fully enclosed plastic housing without ventilation slots. Eight different output voltages (5, 12, 15, 19, 24, 28, 36 and 48 V) are available. The device is supplied as standard with a four-pin DIN plug with locking mechanism; other plug types are also available on request. The mains input is via an IEC 320-C14 IEC connector. The DTM65-C8 model is also available as a variant with Class II protective insulation and a plug to IEC 320-C8, which can be connected to the mains with two poles.
