Stable result achieved

The Escha Group achieved a stable result despite the challenges of the past year. At just over € 70 million, consolidated Group sales for 2020 were almost exactly on a par with the previous year.

Marco Heck, Managing Director of the Escha Group, anticipates positive planning for 2021, in which the company intends to grow again.

As the connection technology provider is positioned in various target sectors, the decline in the weaker automotive-related industries was offset by increased demand in other markets. Compared to the previous year, the number of employees worldwide fell by 70 to a total of 780.

"Every financial year is exciting and has its own challenges. Like other companies and private individuals, we had expected many new challenges in 2020, but not a pandemic. Through our subsidiary in Shanghai, we could already feel in January last year what this unfamiliar situation can mean for an industrial manufacturing company. I am therefore grateful to our management team and our employees for the calm and level-headed way in which they have dealt with these conditions to date," says Marco Heck, Managing Director of the Escha Group.

Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, all future forecasts can only remain vague and uncertain, Heck continues. However, the company is currently experiencing a positive mood in the market environment, which is also associated with positive planning for 2021.
