Smooth and quiet rolling

The advanced Micro Flizz MF10 cable carrier system from Igus can safely guide data, energy and media at 6 m/s over a length of up to 100 m.

The system consists of a plastic energy chain, flexible 'Chainflex' cables for movements with very tight bending radii and an aluminum housing. The energy chain has integrated 'side wings' that hold the chain securely in a special groove in the upper and lower part of the channel when stretched. The wings fold in automatically when the chain bends in the radius. Together with plastic springs on the bars of the chain, they ensure smooth and quiet rolling, as the upper run of the chain does not rest on the lower run. This reduces friction, wear, energy consumption and noise. A roller carriage at the end of the chain acts as a carrier. Two energy chains can also run simultaneously in one guide channel thanks to a counter-rotating arrangement. The modular design of the pre-assembled system makes it easy to adapt to any application. The filling of the energy chain can vary according to requirements.
