Rose takes over CRE Rösler Electronic

On August 1, the Porta Westfalica-based enclosure specialist Rose Systemtechnik acquired CRE Rösler Electronic GmbH, based in Hohenlockstedt near Itzehoe. With this acquisition, Rose aims to become a full-service provider of HMI solutions.

Control housing, IPC and support arm system from a single source - this is what Rose wants to offer its customers in future.

CRE was founded in 1979, initially as a manufacturer of control systems for emergency power generators in agriculture, as well as electronic grain moisture measuring systems for automatic grain drying. The latter were based on the first microprocessors available at the time, the legendary Z80. Today, the company and its 45 employees manufacture panel PCs, industrial monitors and embedded PCs for numerous industrial sectors. The company's operating and display devices are used in the food industry, in car production, in research facilities, in logistics and in general mechanical engineering. The product portfolio also includes solutions for drive, control and safety technology.

"Thanks to CRE's extensive expertise, we can now offer complete customer-specific HMI solutions - i.e. the entire package of control housing, IPC and support arm system - from a single source," comments Dr. Heinz Werner Rixen, Managing Director of Rose, on the acquisition.

Rose Systemtechnik was founded in Porta Westfalica in 1969 and, with over 350 employees, is part of Phoenix Mecano AG (Switzerland).
