Building on a letter of intent signed at the Hannover Messe, the two companies are now intensifying their long-term collaboration. The focus is on the development of a standardized, interoperable and scalable portfolio for the use of asset administration shells (AAS). R. Stahl combines in-depth domain knowledge in explosion protection and regulatory expertise with the AAS front-end portal. This is complemented by the cloud-based platform 'twinsphere Suite' from Conplement - a highly scalable SaaS solution for the creation and integration of digital twins.

"Our vision is to actively shape the digital transformation. By working closely with Conplement, we offer a unique overall package - from regulatory security to scalable cloud technology," explains Tobias Popp, CCO at R. Stahl. "Our customers benefit from a holistic, practical solution that already takes into account both current requirements and future regulations such as the digital product passport."

Stahl, we are gaining a partner with in-depth industry expertise that perfectly complements our offering. Together, we are creating a platform that is interoperable, future-proof and ready for Industry 4.0."

In addition to software development, the joint range of services also includes specific consulting and training packages that are individually tailored to customers from the industry. The aim is to accelerate the introduction and use of digital twins and at the same time ensure regulatory compliance.

R. Stahl generated a turnover of 344 million euros in 2024 with 1743 employees worldwide. The Waldenburg-based company is a provider of explosion protection technology and offers solutions in the areas of electrical, automation, lighting and customer solutions. Its main customers are in the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas and food industries.

Headquartered in Nuremberg, Conplement is an IT company that specializes in the development of individual software solutions and digital strategies.
