Phoenix Contact and TE Connectivity cooperate
The NSR elementary relay is the core of a long-term partnership agreement: TE Connectivity is taking over the NSR technology and production from Phoenix Contact.
Phoenix Contact launched the narrow PSRmini safety relay on the market in 2015 and developed and produced the NSR force-guided elementary relay for it. According to the company, this is one of the most compact relays on the market. In order to achieve this level of miniaturization in the NSR, innovative methods and technologies were developed both in product development and for the production processes. In order to expand its portfolio of force-guided elementary relays, TE Connectivity will acquire the NSR technology and simultaneously take over the production and marketing of the elementary relay.
" TE Connectivity' s expertise in engineering, production and distribution will take the commercialization of NSR technology to a new level and open up new markets. We look forward to expanding this long-term partnership, which is a key element of our safety relay strategy," says Ulrich Leidecker, member of the Phoenix Contact Management Board and President of the Industry Management and Automation (IMA) division, about the partnership.
