Change in the management

Markus Asch has been CEO of the Rittal International Foundation and Chairman of the Rittal Management Board since February 1, 2021. He was appointed by Prof. Friedhelm Loh, owner and CEO of the Friedhelm Loh Group.

Markus Asch (49) has been the new Chairman of the Rittal Management Board since February 1, 2021.

Markus Asch is responsible for all business areas of the system provider for enclosures, power distribution, air conditioning, IT infrastructure, software and service. The company has 58 subsidiaries and 9700 employees worldwide. Asch will also assume overall responsibility for Rittal Software & Service (RSS) International with the Eplan and Cideon units and 1400 employees.

Over the past 25 years, Asch has held various management positions at the family-owned company and global market leader for cleaning equipment Alfred Kärcher, most recently as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and CTO.

Asch succeeds Dr. Karl-Ulrich Köhler, who was Chairman of the Management Board of Rittal until October 31, 2020 and moved to SHS - Stahl-Holding-Saar.
