Monitor and configure networks intuitively

Lean managed switches from Wago complement the manufacturer's portfolio in the network infrastructure sector and offer new functions, particularly for network diagnostics. The switches are available with 8 or 16 copper ports with transmission rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Devices are optionally available with two additional SFP slots (100/1000 Mbit/s), which can be used to connect fiber optic cables, for example.
A version with PoE functionality enables connected PoE devices to be supplied with power at a supply voltage of 24 V(DC), which is typical for switch cabinets. The power output per PoE port can be up to 30 W.

Wago has placed particular emphasis on an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface: With web-based management, installation, commissioning and diagnostics can be carried out even without in-depth IT knowledge.
The user enters the IP address of the switch in a standard browser and is then taken directly to the diagnostics dashboard or the network view (topology map). These diagnostic pages enable quick troubleshooting in the system. During commissioning, the individual network participants can simply be taught in. As soon as the connection is physically established on a port, simply click on the 'Teach-in' button to register the participants. Identification takes place via LLDP or the MAC address of the connected devices.

Another function in the diagnostics dashboard is the so-called loose connection feature: all transmission errors for each port are logged in a port link down statistic. This makes it possible to quickly localize and rectify any loose contacts that may be caused by faulty connectors, for example.
