High level of fire protection included

Lapp is expanding its portfolio of cables and wires with halogen-free plastic composition with two new products.

The Ölflex Classic 128 H BK SC is a single-core cable especially for building cabling. The high-current sheathed cable has CPR classification Cca in accordance with EU Directive 305/2011 (CPR/CPR). It offers a high level of electrical safety thanks to its 4000 V test voltage. The single core can be used universally for wiring internal machine and cross-system control circuits, is suitable for fixed installation and occasional movement without tensile stress and can be used in both dry and damp rooms.

Lapp offers the Ölflx Classic 115 CH with halogen-free core insulation and sheath mixture for building cabling to meet special fire protection requirements. According to the manufacturer, the materials used offer high electrical safety, strong flame resistance, (cold) flexibility and extended oil resistance. The cable does not require an inner sheath and has increased oil resistance in accordance with DIN EN 50363-4-1 (TM5) as well as UL OIL RES I and OIL RES II.
