Escha Group reports record figures for 2017
The Escha Group closed the 2017 financial year with record figures. With consolidated sales of € 68.5 million, the company recorded growth of 34% compared to 2016.
The provider of connector and enclosure technology has also set new records for incoming orders and employee numbers: Around 900 employees are currently working for the family-owned company worldwide. That is 17% more than in the previous year.
According to Marco Heck, Managing Director of the Escha Group, the growth in sales, incoming orders and the number of employees is based on increased demand in all key markets: "We achieved particularly high growth rates in the renewable energy sector, the bus and rail industry and in automation solutions for mobile machines," says Heck. Industrial Ethernet products for Industry 4.0 applications were another driver. According to Escha, sales and location strategy measures also had a positive impact on growth: for example, the launch of direct sales in Poland in March 2017, the commissioning of the new production and logistics center at the headquarters in Halver and the doubling of capacity at the plant in China. The company is currently planning to expand its plant in Germany, which is due to be completed in 2019. For 2018, Escha anticipates sales growth in the high single-digit percentage range.
