Lapp Group takes over JJ-Lapp joint venture in full

The Lapp Group, a provider of cable and connection technology, has fully acquired JJ-Lapp, a joint venture between Jebsen & Jessen and Lapp with a focus on the Southeast Asian market. At the end of 2025, the companies completed the transaction for the remaining 50 percent of the company's shares. The acquisition is the largest in Lapp's history.

Jebsen & Jessen and Lapp founded the joint venture in 2004 with the vision of establishing German quality and innovation in Southeast Asia. Since then, the joint venture has developed into a provider of cable and connection solutions with around 350 employees. JJ-Lapp manufactures in Indonesia with headquarters in Singapore and other locations in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Following the takeover, JJ-Lapp will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lapp Group. Both companies have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
