According to the manufacturer, the cable bushing, which corresponds to the standard cut-outs of 24-pin heavy-duty connectors in terms of cut-out size and hole pattern, offers a high packing density that would not be possible with conventional solutions with a comparable surface area. Cables, fiber optic cables, hoses or cable strands with diameters ranging from 1.5 to 22 mm can be inserted, sealed and simultaneously relieved against tension with the cable entry. With eight different versions, any number of combinations and diameter variants are possible. This is due to the different clamping areas for the cables. Tapered grommets on the back of the cable entry ensure that the cable is sealed twice. Openings that are no longer required can be securely closed with ST-B plugs from the supplier, and protection class IP65/IP66 is maintained.
