The supporting program is available

The SPS starts on November 8 in Nuremberg. Around 1,000 exhibitors have announced their participation. A highlight of the trade fair will be the theme talk with Minister President Dr. Markus Söder on the second day of the fair.

Around 1,000 exhibitors have announced their attendance at SPS from November 8 to 10 in Nuremberg to showcase their latest products and solutions at the industry get-together for automation technology. Visitors to the trade fair can also look forward to an extensive supporting program.

Lecture program in the forums in Halls 3 and 5

At the trade fair forum in Hall 5, exhibitors will present their latest developments and provide insights into trends and challenges in automation technology and how they can be solved.

At the Technology Stage powered by VDMA/ZVEI in Hall 3, companies will also be showcasing their latest product developments. In addition to the specialist presentations, the forum also offers panel discussions on current issues in automation.

The program highlights include, for example

  • ZVEI showcase PCF@Control Cabinet - The DPP4.0 as an industry-compatible concept for the digital product passport (specialist presentation, Tue., 08.11., 09:40)
  • Status and news about OPC UA - the world's secure, interoperability solution (Lecture, Tue., 08.11., 14:00)
  • Opportunities and challenges of drive technology through digitalization and sustainability (panel discussion, Tue., 08.11., 15:15)

Another highlight of the event will be the themed talk by Bavarian Minister President Dr. Markus Söder, who will be live on Wednesday, 9 November at 09:30. This will deal with current topics from business and politics, such as digitalization in Germany and the importance of trade fairs for Germany as a business location after two years of the pandemic.

Accompanying digital program

This year, the SPS will be supplemented by a digital program. "SPS on air" enables interested parties to find out about the exhibited products online, contact suppliers directly, stream the Technology Stage lecture program and network with other participants.
