Generational change at management level

On March 1, 2019, Kerstin Jung assumed overall responsibility for the Bühler Motor Group's HR department. In addition, Michael Eckert has been responsible for production planning and the company's global production sites since May 1, 2019.

As the new Vice President Human Resources, Kerstin Jung succeeds Matthias Otto, who held the position for twelve years and retired at the end of last year. Jung comes to Bühler Motor from the Dräxlmaier Group, where she was most recently Head of HR Division Production, Logistics, Purchasing. Prior to that, she was responsible for HR development at Sanacorp Pharmahandel and worked for the Allianz Group for over twelve years at various locations and in different areas of responsibility, particularly in HR and organizational development. Before joining the HR department, she worked in sales and product management for over six years.

As the new Vice President Operations, Michael Eckert succeeds Karlheinz Müller, who retired at the end of May 2019 after twelve years at Bühler Motor. In his new role, Eckert will assume responsibility for production planning and the Bühler Motor Group's global production sites. Before joining the company, Eckert was Managing Director of the tool manufacturer Gedore Holding. For over ten years, Eckert was employed in international positions as Production and Operations Manager for Mahle-Behr and as Technical Managing Director at Voss Automotive Mexico in Spain and Mexico.
