Dr. Lutz Steiner is Senior Vice President Innovation
In the newly created position of Senior Vice President Innovation, Dr. Lutz Steiner will drive forward Lenze's growth and innovation strategy.
As an industry expert and innovation manager with international management experience, Dr. Lutz Steiner joined the automation specialist Lenze on 1 April. In this newly created position, he will be in charge of all innovation within the Group and will be responsible for strategically driving forward the technological roadmap. Dr. Steiner is moving from ABB China, where he was most recently responsible for R&D Building Automation Solutions Asia Pacific.
"We want to continue to grow sustainably and must therefore think today in terms of products and solutions that our customers will need tomorrow and beyond. We can only achieve sustainable Industry 4.0 through digitalization and innovation. To achieve this, we still need many new technologies that make it possible to use energy, materials and working time more efficiently - or to put it another way: we need innovations to further reduce the waste of resources. In Dr. Lutz Steiner, we have gained an experienced innovation manager who will drive these topics forward with his scientific and technical expertise and international industry experience," says CTO Frank Maier, explaining the background.
