100,000 revolutions and more

The Acopos P3 servo amplifier from B&R is also available in a special version without output frequency limitation.

This enables motor speeds in excess of 100,000 revolutions per minute in many applications. This variant can therefore be used for applications in machine tool construction, stone and glass processing or woodworking. In the standard version of the 'Acopos P3', the electrical output frequency of the device is monitored. If the output frequency exceeds the limit value of 598 Hz for more than half a second, the movement is stopped and an error is triggered. With the new version of the B&R servo amplifier, the electrical output frequency of the device is not monitored. It is therefore subject to dual-use export restrictions in accordance with European Community Regulation (EC) No. 428/2009.

The servo amplifiers are suitable for spindle motor operations of all kinds. The motors can be controlled in an open control loop and in a fully closed control loop with a cycle time of 50 µs.
