How did hourly rates develop in 2016?
What is the project situation like for IT and engineering freelancers? To what extent do they get the hourly rate they demand? The project portal Gulp provides answers with the first results of its Freelancer Study 2016 and its Project Market Index 2016.
Gulp conducted the freelancer study among 1,291 IT and engineering freelancers online and anonymously over a period from January to June 2016. In addition, Gulp has continuously measured the project offers sent via its own server in its IT project market index since 1998. The index serves as an indicator of how supply, demand and hourly rates are developing on the market for various skills such as programming languages, operating systems, database systems and SAP modules.
