Pepperl+Fuchs
Reaching the billion mark for the first time
For the first time in the company's 77-year history, Pepperl+Fuchs has exceeded the threshold of one billion euros in annual global turnover. This means that the company has reached its original target of 2025 much earlier than planned.
The globally positioned company has coped well with the challenges since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. After sales initially fell by 9% in 2020, Pepperl+Fuchs was able to record an overall increase in sales of more than 40% in the next two years of the pandemic. Dr. Gunther Kegel, CEO of the Pepperl+Fuchs Group, is very proud that this was possible despite the enormously difficult conditions caused by the pandemic, supply bottlenecks, sometimes drastic price developments and, last but not least, the war in Ukraine and the gas shortage: "Without the special commitment of our more than 7,000 employees worldwide in such extraordinary times, this great success would not have been possible." The outlook for the future is correspondingly optimistic. "This excellent result will allow us to continue to make strategic investments in the future and systematically build up our workforce in order to secure the long-term success of our company," says Dr. Kegel.
