Pressure transmitter with digital output

The 'KMC' pressure transmitters from Gefran have been specially developed for use in mobile hydraulics and are designed with protection class IP69K. Their digital output (CANopen and CAN SAE J1939) enables integration into various control systems.

The 4 cm long pressure transmitters weigh just 50 g. Thanks to their shock resistance of up to 100 g and vibration resistance of up to 20 g, their high temperature stability and resistance to extreme environmental conditions, according to Gefran, they are suitable for construction machinery, cranes, lifting platforms and commercial vehicles, for example. The pressure transmitters are available for measuring ranges from 4 bar to 1,000 bar.

In many applications, dangerous phenomena such as cavitation, liquid hammer or pressure peaks can occur, for example when pumps start and stop or when a valve closes quickly. To protect the sensors from these phenomena, they can optionally be equipped with an integrated pressure damper that eliminates these harmful peaks thanks to a 0.5 mm diameter through-hole.
