They simultaneously transmit comprehensive process and status data for optimized control, predictive maintenance and integration into IIoT environments. The sensor combines the IO-Link interface with two push-pull outputs, allowing the values of two switching outputs to be transmitted to the controller. Thanks to IO-Link communication, commissioning and parameterization are simple. Ultrasonic measurement is independent of the color, material and surface properties of the object and is hardly affected by external influences such as dust, dirt or moisture. For harsh environments, the devices have an IP67 housing and metal connections. Ranges of up to 6 m as well as front and sidelooker variants enable flexible integration into a wide range of applications. Thanks to a particularly small blind zone and an adjustable sound beam, according to the manufacturer, the devices can also be used in very confined installation situations.
