Management change at Sensirion
On July 1, 2016, Marc von Waldkirch will become the new Managing Director of the Swiss sensor manufacturer Sensirion. He succeeds the founders Felix Mayer and Moritz Lechner in this role.
The two CEOs Felix Mayer and Moritz Lechner will hand over the operational management of Sensirion on July 1, 2016 and will actively focus on strategic product innovations and the development of new markets as Co-Chairmen of the Board of Directors. Their main activities will therefore remain at Sensirion.
With Marc von Waldkirch, born in 1974, a long-time employee is taking over the operational management. Marc von Waldkirch graduated with honors in physics from ETH Zurich and subsequently switched to electrical engineering at ETH Zurich, where he completed his doctorate in 2004. He joined Sensirion in 2005 as a project manager and later headed the development department for liquid sensors. He has been Vice President Development and a member of the Executive Board since 2011.
