Sensor+Test 2022
Finally live again in Nuremberg
Sensor+Test will take place in Nuremberg from May 10 to 12, 2022. At the annual press conference of the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement, the organizer already gave an overall positive outlook for the trade fair for sensor, measuring and testing technology.
"We will finally be able to welcome our exhibitors and visitors back to the exhibition halls in May after a forced break of three years," says Holger Bödeker, Managing Director of organizer AMA Service. "As things stand, we are expecting more than 300 exhibitors in Halls 1 and 2 of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center this year. Of course, we won't be able to match the figures from the 2019 trade fair and before Corona, but against the backdrop of global uncertainties and economic problems, this is a respectable level." He goes on to explain that the return to the presence trade fair this year is more important than ever, especially for small and medium-sized companies, in order to strengthen and expand contacts with active and potential customers. The special theme of this year's trade fair is 'Sensors and measurement technology for the digital world'.
Sensors and sensor systems for the Internet of Things will also be the focus of the 21st ITG/GMA Symposium on Sensors and Measurement Systems, which will be held on 10 and 11 May 2022 by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG) in cooperation with the VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik (GMA). The conference will also report on new developments in the field of measurement systems, their analysis and description as well as system-related (multi-)sensor technology.
The ettc2022 European Test and Telemetry Conference (May 10-12, 2022) in Hall 2 is the most important international platform for telemetry, telecontrol, test instrumentation and data processing. It is taking place for the fifth time alongside Sensor+Test. Visitors and participants will experience the important role played by telemetry technologies for applications in the aerospace, automotive and biomedical industries, for example, in current industrial developments such as IoT, big data, wireless and UAVs (drones).
