According to the manufacturer, the incremental encoders have a high line count and offer great flexibility. With the Icuro RI58 and Icuro RI59, users can choose from numerous flange and connection variants, while the Icuro RI76 is installed using a clamping ring. The resolution ranges from 14,400 steps with 3,600 pulses to 40,000 steps with 10,000 pulses.

Hengstler 's portfolio also includes absolute encoders for the food and beverage industry . The Acuro AC58 and Acuro AC61 are mainly used. The Acuro AC58 achieves resolutions of 22 bits (singleturn) and 12 bits (multiturn). It can be used in a temperature range between -40 and +100 °C and is available with a solid or hollow shaft. As the absolute encoder is equipped with the Profinet protocol 4.2, it is also suitable for IIoT applications. Acuro AC61 is protected against corrosion by a stainless steel housing.
