Everactive's solutions will complement Rockwell Automation 's 'Dynamix' product line. This will benefit Rockwell customers who want actionable insights into their rotating equipment without having to worry about disruption during battery replacement. The integrated system will provide asset monitoring and condition-based monitoring data to Rockwell Automation's FactoryTalk MaintenanceSuite, as well as to predictive maintenance programs. This will enable maintenance teams to reduce equipment-related downtime and lower production and labor costs.

"We are very excited about this partnership with Everactive. The data generated by the company's condition monitoring sensors can be utilized by our FactoryTalk analytics, monitoring and maintenance platforms to help customers achieve longer uptime, higher quality and greater profitability," said Brian Merdes, Vice President & General Manager Sensing, Safety and Industrial Control at Rockwell Automation. "In addition, Everactive's energy harvesting technology allows sensors to operate continuously without battery maintenance, reducing our customers'carbon footprint."

In collaboration with its partners, Everactive offers micro-renewable energy solutions. The company's proprietary low-power harvesting technology and wireless technology enable completely battery-free and always-on systems for the Internet of Things. The company's rugged edge devices are designed for use in harsh industrial environments and provide continuous visibility into the health of assets and equipment in plants and manufacturing facilities. The company has offices in Silicon Valley, Ann Arbor and Charlottesville.
