Comply with IP68/IP69 and NEMA 4/4X

Temposonics' T-series position sensors now comply with protection classes IP68/IP69 (in accordance with IEC 60529) and NEMA 4 or 4X (in accordance with NEMA 250).

T-Series position sensors from Temposonics

The magnetostrictive linear sensors from Temposonics have been specially developed for use in areas where they are exposed to flames or corrosive substances, for example. The three sensor outputs Analog, SSI and CANbus have the international, US and Canadian standard protection classes. This means that users benefit from increased protection and can perform accurate position measurement in their application, even if they are installed under water. The Temposonics T-Series TH has been tested for seven days at a depth of 100 meters to ensure IP68 protection. IP69 and NEMA 4 apply to stainless steel 1.4305 (AISI 303) housings and NEMA 4X to stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L). The sensors are pressure-resistant and unaffected by vibrations and shocks. As there are no moving parts, the sensors are durable and maintenance-free.
